May 3-5 –Food Truck and Patio Kickoff at Detroit Fleat in Ferndale

Ferndale, MI: Detroit Fleat, Metro Detroit’s first and only Food Truck Park and Boozery, looks forward to the return of their food trucks for the summer season. To celebrate, Detroit Fleat is excited to host their annual Food Truck and Patio Kickoff Weekend Friday, May 3rd to Sunday, May 5th.

This season’s mainstay food trucks are El Guapo (Fresh Mexican Grill), The Pita Post (Creative Mediterranean Eats) and Matt & Mo’s (Chicago Style Italian Beef Sandwiches).
Food lovers can find the three mainstay food trucks at Detroit Fleat from 11am-9pm all weekend along with appearances from rotating guest trucks.

When discussing what an impact the reopening of the food trucks has on business, owner Aaron Tye said, “Summer is when Detroit Fleat really comes alive. The food trucks are the heartbeat of this season for us. It’s always exciting for when they return.”

The food trucks also bring the return of some of the best-loved events to Detroit Fleat. Each weekend, guests trucks pull in to serve up amazing food on Friday and Saturday evenings, along with taco trucks for Taco Truck Tuesdays and specialty trucks for Food Truck Brunch Sundays. Detroit Fleat looks forward to another successful and exciting summer as a hub of the food truck community and a watering hole for Ferndale neighbors.
