Clawson Schools on Lockdown as Police Investigate Online Comments

UPDATED – The lockdown has been removed. A student who was not in school made a threat on Snap Chat stating they were bringing a gun to school. The student was located in Auburn Hills. Auburn Hills Police located the student and held them until Clawson Police arrival.  The 19-year-old male student was taken into custody.

Clawson , MI – Clawson Schools were locked down Wednesday morning as police investigate threats made on social media.  The Clawson Police made the announcement on Facebook at 10:45am, stating “As a precautionary measure all Clawson Schools are in lockdown. We are investigating some comments made by a student on social media.”

Students and teachers are asked to remain in classrooms until the lockdown is lifted.
