Puppy Yoga to Benefit Make a Difference Rescue Feb. 9 in Ferndale

(Ananda Ferndale, event listing)

Ferndale, MI – Our Ananda Ferndale yoga teachers, three of whom are also professional dog walkers, are thrilled to be teaming up with Make a Difference Rescue! Together, we are offering a feel-good experience to support the rescue during an adoption event on Saturday, February 9th, from 12-4 p.m. The first sold out “Puppy Yoga” class (a yoga practice in the presence of…PUPPIES!) will take place from 2:30-3:30 p.m. and throughout the 4-hour event, folks are welcome to come meet adoptable puppies as well as adult pups!

Puppy yoga has been shown to benefit class participants (talk about all the fuzzy feels!) in addition to aiding in socializing the puppies, preparing them for new & changing environments.

Since the first class sold out in a single afternoon, another class has been added to meet the demand for a chance to practice “down dog” with lovable dogs! If you’d like to join us, register for the *just added* Puppy Yoga class from 4-5 p.m.!
