Huntington Woods City Commission Accepting Applications to Fill Vacancy

Huntington Woods, MI – The City Commission accepted the resignation of Commissioner Allison Iversen at their December 18th meeting.  The City Commission has 30 days to appoint a resident to fill the vacated term which expires in November 2019.

Residents who are interested in being considered for the vacancy need to fill out a Citizen Interest Form for City Commissioner and submit it to the City Clerk no later than noon on Friday, January 11th, 2019.

The Citizen Interest Form is available at all city offices and on the City’s website at www.hwmi.org. Forms can be dropped off at City Hall, mailed to 26815 Scotia Road or emailed to jsolanskey@hwmi.org.

Interested residents will be contacted to meet with the City Commission after the deadline has passed. Questions should be directed to Joy Solanskey at 248.581.2638.
