ACA Enrollment Assistance at Ferndale Library Dec. 11

From the inception of FernCare Free Clinic, its purpose was to provide short term care to those in need of general medical assistance without health care coverage.

FernCare Free Clinic will be hosting two sessions offering enrollment assistance with experienced volunteers to provide aid in ACA enrollment.

The Open Enrollment period for Healthcare.gov, also known as the Affordable Care Act, will be November 1 – December 15. Health insurance coverage is not just for when you are sick – preventive services to help you and your family live long, healthy lives.

If your income is below 400% of the Federal Poverty Level, you are automatically eligible for subsidies to offset the cost of monthly fees, co-pays, and deductibles. If your income is between 138% and 400% of income levels shown on the chart below, we urge you to attend one of the sessions!

If your income is below 138%, we will assist in your Healthy Michigan application.

Space is limited for this free event! Call 248-677-2273 to register for a date listed above! The clinic office is open Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 2:00 pm, feel free to leave a message if necessary.
