Oakland County Times Seeking Journalists, Feature Writers & Sales Associates

Oakland County Times, MI – Oakland County Times continues to grow, and we are looking for people who want to make a little bit of extra money and who want to be part of the success of this online news publication.


If you can write, and want to be part of showcasing what is happening in Oakland County, consider being a freelancer for our publication.

Experienced journalists can put their skills to work covering local news stories and features.  Those who like to write but don’t have journalism training are welcome to write about events and other features.

Send an email describing your writing experience and the kinds of stories you might be interested in to editor@oc115.com.  Assignments are sporadic depending on available funds, and pay is a modest stipend. So only contact us if you really enjoy writing and want to be part of this online community project.


Oakland County Times is seeking salespeople for a variety of specific tasks. Want to work only on big corporate sponsorships? Want to go after small business accounts?  How about helping us build our directory? Do you want to sell ads in a specific community, or do you have contacts in a specific industry?  We’re open to any sales help we can get, and we offer a commission for each ad sold.
