Children’s Business Fair Aug. 25 in Holly

Holly, MI-  Lemonade stands, pet rocks, hand-drawn bookmarks… Do you remember when you were a kid and dreamed of opening your own business? And how great it felt to sell one of your items and hand your customer their change, thanking them for buying something from you? Adults – it’s time to help the next generation of local young entrepreneurs. Let’s become their customers!

The Holly Area Chamber of Commerce, Holly Downtown Development Authority (DDA), Holly Area Schools, and Inspirations Arts and Crafts Workshop are coming together to host an exciting event in Battle Alley next Saturday, August 25th from 4 – 7pm.

Local children aged 6-16 will set up their booths in Battle Alley and sell their wares. They’ve been working hard on creating items to sell, making signs, and perfecting their cashiering skills. Parents of the young business-people will be allowed to help them get their booths set up, but from 4-7pm, they’ll be on their own – advertising their items and enticing you to support their business.

Please make a point to visit these hard-working young entrepreneurs. Let’s give them the encouragement they need to continue working hard and learning about the wonderful world of business! #HollyChildrensFair #BizKids #YoungEntrepreneurs
