Royal Oak Summer Concert: July 19 – The Corktown Popes and More

Royal Oak Summer Concert: July 19 – The Corktown Popes and More

The Royal Oak Commission for the Arts summer concert series is returning in 2018 for another summer of live music at the  ‘pop-up park’ on Center Street.

For six consecutive Thursdays, music enthusiasts can grab lawn chairs and blankets and head to downtown Royal Oak for weekly live performances by some of the area’s top bands and bring your appetite as local restaurants will be on hand each night for your dinning pleasure!

Adding to the fun this year, Oakland County Parks and Recreation will be bringing outdoor activities each week. On July 19, the Detroit Institute of Arts will bring their DIA Away trailer for all to explore their inner artist.
