(Crystal A. Proxmire, May 28, 2018)

Ferndale, MI – The Ferndale Community came together Monday to honor those whose lives have been lost in war.  The 100th consecutive Memorial Day Parade included students from the Ferndale Golden Eagles Marching Band, martial arts students from Mejishi Martial Arts, and several community groups such as the Ferndale Beautification Commission, Boy Scouts, and Garden Club.  The parade also included the Michigan’s Fallen Foot Float, with signs in the memory of Michiganders who made the ultimate sacrifice since the tradition began ten years ago.
