Art-Fish-Fun Festival in Pontiac’s Beaudette Park June 9

Pontiac, MI – The 5th Annual Art-Fish -Fun Festival will be held on Saturday, June 9, beginning at 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., in Beaudette Park, located at 786 Orchard Lake Road in Pontiac, Michigan. This free public event provides art and environmental educational activities for the entire family.

In recognition of River Day, the Art-Fish-Fun Festival was established to bring attention to the importance of preserving our environment. Free 2018 River Day T-Shirts will be given to the first 100 guests that enter the park. A special cleanup is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 12 noon with bags, gloves, and trash pickers being provided for volunteers.

A free lunch will be provided beginning at 1 p.m. consisting of beverages, BBQ ribs, chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream, and other items.

More than thirty activities are scheduled which include Fishing with Commissioner Jim Nash,   Great Lakes Wildlife Puppets, Michigan Mammals & Reptiles Exhibit, the Butterfly Mural, Native Plant Display, the Mini Festival, the Dirt Doctors, Face Painting, the Kid’s Workshop, Carnival Games, Calligraphy and Painting with a Fish to name a few.

This is a collaborative community partnership consisting of private, public and non-profit stakeholders.  More info:
