Water Infrastructure 101 Discussion, Southfield May 21

Southfield, MI- Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner Jim Nash give a presentation on Water Infrastructure 101-“What You Need to Know Below and Beyond.” In Southfield this will take place at Southfield Public Library 26300 Evergreen Road Monday, May 21, 2018 from 7pm to 8:30pm

The public will have the opportunity to ask a variety of questions ranging from aging infrastructure, water quality, stormwater and lakes. Home infrastructure tips, Oakland County Water Commissioner infrastructure projects, employment opportunities and the Water Residential Assistance Program (WRAP) are some of the topics that Commissioner Nash will also cover. Questions and answer opportunities for the public and feedback are part of these free discussions.

“I am pleased to have the opportunity to work with area libraries to speak about the importance of water infrastructure and to promote National Infrastructure Week. I look forward to engaging with the public and sharing valuable information with the various communities beyond the week,” said Commissioner Jim Nash. Discussions are scheduled throughout Oakland County.
