Berkley Varsity vs Alumni in Dom Geskey Memorial Game April 20

Berkley Varsity vs Alumni in Dom Geskey Memorial Game Fundraiser April 20

April 20 Berkley, MI – Four years ago, a BHS student began a fundraising basketball game to raise money to support the Autism Spectrum Disorder Program at Berkley High School.

Sadly, last March, we lost such a sweet soul in Dominic Geskey. Dom had such a vivacity for life and believed in inclusion for all. He had attended each Hoops for Autism prior to last year’s game game. Upon his passing, this fundraiser was renamed, The Dom Geskey Memorial Game.

Berkley High School Varsity Boys Basketball team will take on alumni for our fundraising event to spread Autism and Inclusion Awareness. Along with the exciting game, there will be food trucks, an inflatable obstacle course, face painting, little tikes basketball, a raffle with more than 25 items from around the community, a DJ and a halftime show.

All proceeds will go to support Berkley’s ASD program and a scholarship in Dominic’s name. Admission is $5 (children younger than 4 get in free to the game); admittance to the activity gym (face painting, obstacle course, mascots, coloring table, Little Tikes basketball shoot off) is $2.

Please join us for a fun-filled night– all ages will enjoy!  Friday, April 20, 2018.  Doors open at 5pm. Game starts at 6pm.  Berkley HS West Gym 2325 Catalpa, Berkley, MI 48072
