“Im finna shoot this bitch up” Message in School Restroom Sparks Investigation

Lyon Township, MI – SUMMARY:  Deputies responded to the South Lyon East High School located at 52200 W. Ten Mile Rd on the report of a hand written message that had been found by a school administrator inside of the men’s restroom.  The note had been written on a paper towel dispenser.  The note stated, “Im finna shoot this bitch up, 4/20/18.” The Deputy assigned as the school liaison officer was notified and responded to the scene.

OUTCOME OF INCIDENT:  The school liaison officer spoke with school administrators and is coordinating an investigation in to who may have written the message.  It is currently unknown who wrote the note or when it was left in the restroom. The school liaison officer will be continuing the investigation. High School administrators will advise of any change in safety protocol for the school during the week of April 16, 2018.
