Freezing Rain Means Power Outages in SE Michigan

Troy, MI – More than 300,000 customers are without power Sunday evening as DTE and Consumers Energy work to repair power lines knocked down due to heavy rains and ice through SE Michigan.

Fire Departments throughout the area are warning people not to go near downed power lines and to report them to the local fire department if they are unattended.  Reports can also be made to DTE directly at https://emergency.dteenergy.com/  For Consumers Energy Customers, the website is https://www.consumersenergy.com/.
