Process Moves forward for Clarkston Superintendent Search

(Clarkston Community Schools, March 12, 2018)

Clarkston, MI – At their February 26 meeting, the CCS Board of Education approved the hiring of Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB) to conduct a search for the next CCS Superintendent. The timeline for this process is fairly short; a preliminary posting has been disseminated, and applicants are being accepted through April 18, 2018, with a projected start date of July 1.

The process will begin with a survey and a few sessions to gather stakeholder input.  These sessions will be held on Monday, March 26, at 7 pm and Tuesday, March 27 at 10:30 am  (Additional sessions for CCS staff members are being held on these days as well.) These are open to anyone who wishes to attend.  All sessions will be held at the CCS Administration Building, 6389 Clarkston Road.

These will be 45-50 minute sessions to gather some feedback in addition to the survey (link below).  All feedback will be analyzed and reported to the Board of Education at a special workshop session on Thursday, March 29 at 7 pm.
