West Bloomfield, MI- West Bloomfield Educational Foundation (WBEF) raises funds to support the West Bloomfield School District and its educational programs. WBEF will hold its 3rd annual Casino Night at Edgewood Country Club on Friday February 9, 2018. The evening includes Appetizers, Dessert, Late Night Pizza, Dancing to the Byron in Motion Band, Raffles, Gaming including Blackjack, Roulette, Bingo, Craps and more. There is a $10 to win $10,000 raffle that will be drawn that night. A Silent Auction boasts gift baskets and vacation packages for Skiing at Boyne Mountain and Mountain Grand Hotel package, and a weekend on Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City.

Adults play and kids win! Since its inception, the WBEF has raised over $1 million donating those funds to the school district and students of West Bloomfield. The purpose of the West Bloomfield Educational Foundation is to provide staff with a source of funding to assist them in developing and implementing innovative technology, academic tools and art programs for which funds are not available through WBSD. This effort allows educators additional opportunities to increase student achievement while helping students grow and reach their potential. “Supporting our children’s education is the biggest jackpot” stated foundation officer and former school principal, Katherine Sheiko. “we are grateful to our major sponsors of this event including Clark Hill, George W. Auch, French Associates, Durham School Services and The Donut Bar, who support our foundation every year.”
