Royal Oak Library Presentation on Trees Feb 1 Royal Oak, MI – Learn how trees improve the quality of life in Royal Oak and what you can do the help keep our trees – and all of us as a result – healthy and thriving.

Led by Bill Lawrence, president of ReLeaf Michigan and retired Ann Arbor city forester, this free presentation will cover the basics of why a tree canopy is so important, outlining the quantifiable benefits trees provide to the community. Trees affect our environment, energy bills, economy and even the value of our homes. You’ll also learn why planting diverse trees will support a healthy community forest that will live for generations to come.
