Marijuana Facility Ordinance Final Vote Tuesday in Hazel Park

Hazel Park, MI – Hazel Park City Council is expected to vote on the second reading of zoning ordinances to allow medical marijuana facilities to open in the city under the current Michigan permitting process.
The ordinances passed on first reading Jan. 10.
If the ordinances pass tonight, potential business owners could start applying as early as tomorrow.
The City is allowing four businesses to open, and will rate applications based on a number of factors including capitalization, landscaping plan, parking, interior design, and business history.

The special meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 at 6pm at Hazel Park City Hall 111 E. 9 Mile Road.
