“Young students today have so many fresh ideas about the world and their future,” Club President Angela Anderson said.  “As Optimists, it is our goal to encourage and do our best, to bring out the best in each of them.  This essay contest provides a wonderful opportunity to tap into their written creativity, by considering their role and contribution to the society they live in while pursuing possible scholarships, at the same time.”
