Grand Chanukah Menorah Lighting Ceremony in Ferndale Dec. 18

Jewish Ferndale will be staging its annual Chanukah Menorah lighting Ceremony on Monday, December 18 at 6 PM at the Jewish Ferndale Building 1725 PInecrest. The event will feature fire art performers, beeswax candle making with Hazon Detroit, live music, food, game room and activities. There is no charge for the event. Said Rabbi Finman, “Chanukah is the most traditional holiday of the year. People celebrate it collectively. Our Goal at Jewish Ferndale to to provide a welcoming environment for all things Jewish.”
Chana Finman, co-director of Jewish Ferndale added, “While people are here they can check out all the amazing programs that are going on at Jewish Ferndale; the art studio, yoga lessons, music classes, AA meetings and a litany of Jewish studies classes that cover the full gambit of Jewish thought.”
