Stars and Stripes Forever Celebration Honors Farmington Hills Veterans Nov. 10


Farmington Hills, MI – The City of Farmington Hills Special Services Adults 50 & Better takes great pride in recognizing and honoring community veterans with the annual Stars and Stripes Forever celebration.  This year’s event will be held on Friday, November 10 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Costick Center, located at 28600 Eleven Mile Road in Farmington Hills.

Tickets for the 21st annual celebration for adults of all ages are $8 until November 6 or $10 afterwards and at the door.  Complimentary admission is offered to veterans residing in Farmington or Farmington Hills who are pre-registered by the November 6 deadline.

All veterans in the area and their guests are welcome to attend.  The event will include an honor guard ceremony conducted by the VFW and the American Legion, and a roll call of all veterans in attendance.  The keynote speaker will be Herman Kasoff, Army WWII Veteran.  The celebration continues with a luncheon, raffles, prizes, and a special interactive presentation with actors portraying Harry and Bess Truman.
