Royal Oak Musicale Program Oct. 17 Featuring Kathy Oliphant and Dan Mihaescu

Royal Oak, MI – ROYAL OAK MUSICALE PROGRAM Tuesday, October 17, 2017, 1:00PM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 814 N. Campbell Road, Royal Oak, MI

The monthly programs are FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, and reception follows all programs.

Two local musicians will be featured in our October program:

KATHY OLIPHANT from Royal Oak, a flutist and graduate of Michigan State University, and performer with Michigan Flute Orchestra and the Spectrum Orchestra. She will play an all-American program accompanied by DORIS HALL, organist at the 1st United Methodist Church of Birmingham.

DAN MIHAESCU, from Berkley, MI, is a baritone and graduate from The University of Michigan. In 1993, as a high school senior, Mr. Mihaescu received a financial aid award from the Royal Oak Musicale. His program will include music by Beethoven, Schubert and Verdi, and selections from the Broadway musical, Camelot. He will be accompanied by Rebecca Jones, (Ann Arbor), who is the pianist at the 1st Congregational Church of Ann Arbor.
