Oakland County Times Hits 100,000 Reader Mark

(Crystal A. Proxmire, Sept. 18, 2017)

Ferndale, MI – The Oakland County Times has reached a wonderful milestone.  In the late evening of Sept. 18, 2017 we crossed over the 100,000 unique reader mark for the month.  September is not yet done and the record-breaking total continues to climb.

The Oakland County Times began as The Ferndale One-Fifteen News in June 2009, publishing community news and features on the first and fifteenth of each month.  It has grown at a healthy pace with a lot of help from people in the communities served, relying on small business advertising and reader contributions.

The goal of The Oakland County Times is to have a known presence in every community by 2020 and to give each city, village and township the level of quality local journalism that everyone deserves by 2025.
