(Crystal A. Proxmire, July 3, 2017)

Oak Park, MI – Regina Weiss is one of three candidates for Oak Park City Council for two seats in the Nov. 7, 2017 election. Weiss is also on the ballot with Andrew Cissell and incumbent Carolyn Burns.

Weiss has been a teacher and worked with the Tri Community Coalition, a group that strives to help youth avoid drug and alcohol abuse.

In her interview Weiss said “I will do the work. I will do the research… One of the things I love doing is reaching out, talking to my neighbors… I try to be as involved in the city as I possibly can and I want to continue that.”
