Pleasant Ridge, MI – Plans are in the works for improvements around the Pleasant Ridge Community Center, and residents have been coming together to make it happen. The Pleasant Ridge Foundation held their 57th Annual Gala and Auction on May 20, raising over $40,000 towards the project.  The event featured a rock music theme and included dinner catered by Chicken hack, appetizers by Mr. Kabob, beer from Axle Brewery and deserts by Treat Dreams.

Plans call for a volleyball court, a story telling circle, a walking path, a new play area, bike racks and flexible lawn space.  The new amenities will frame the existing community center which already includes a fitness room and pool.
