Granzon Ave. Road Closure Open House in Oak Park April 11

Granzon Ave. Road Closure Open House in Oak Park April 11

(EVENT page)

The City is hosting an Open House on the Granzon Avenue Project on April 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of City Hall.

Budgeted for the 2017 construction season, the City of Oak Park is proud to begin construction on Granzon Avenue, from Coolidge Highway to Church Road.

This will consist of a total reconstruction of the roadway using new concrete. New storm sewers and handicap accessible ramps will also be installed. The work associated with this project will require a total closure of Granzon Avenue, leaving only Parklawn Avenue open to through traffic.

All corner homes along Granzon will lose access to their driveway for the duration of the project that is projected to last approximately 12 weeks.

The project is expected to begin in April.

Florence Cement Company was awarded the project in February 20, 2017 and will be in attendance to answer resident questions.

For more information on this project, call Jennifer Wilson at (248) 691-7580
