Holocaust Survivor Shares Story in Troy March 30

Troy, MI  – Thursday Teas at Two: Into No Man’s Land

When: March 30 @ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm | $7 / Member | $8 Nonmember

Holocaust survivor Irene Miller shares her journey: sleeping in the winter under open sky in no man’s land; freezing in a Siberian labor camp; living on boiled grass and broiled onions in Uzbekistan. Learn how a child with this background grew into a positive, creative and accomplished woman. Irene will sell and sign copies of her memoir, “Into No Man’s Land”, published by the University of Michigan.

Sip a cup of tea while enjoying a slice of history. A different topic each month! Presentations begin in Old Troy Church at 2 pm and last one hour. Guests are welcome to bring their own china cup and saucer if preferred. Individual Ticket Price: $7/THS Member; $8/non-member. Season Tickets: $24/THS Member; $28/non-member.
