(EVENT page)

Royal Oak, Berkley, Madison Heights, Hazel Park, Ferndale, Pleasant Ridge and Huntington Woods, MI – It’s Mustache March: The police departments of Berkley, Royal Oak, Madison Heights, Hazel Park, Ferndale, Pleasant Ridge and Huntington Woods are teaming up with the Friends of Jacob Foundation and competing to see who can grow the best or the worst mustache in the month of March.

The Friends of Jacob Foundation is a local organization that assists children with autism and their families by providing grants for medical bills, socialization activities and support networks.

How Residents Can Help

Residents may support this competition without growing a mustache. Simply follow this link: http://www.friendsofjacob.org/donate/ and in the “special instructions” section simply put the name of the department you are supporting. What ever city raises the most money for the Friends of Jacob Foundation will receive the Golden Mustache Trophy to proudly display until the next competition.
