Rochester Hills Woman Says Teen Pointed Gun at Her from Car

Rochester Hills, MI – INCIDENT: 15:24 hrs. – City of Rochester Hills – Felonious Assault / Detective Call Out – #16-180982
SUMMARY: Deputies responded to the 3000 block of Longview Ave on the report of a Felonious Assault that had just occurred. The victim stated that there was a suspicious vehicle parked on Longview Ave. The complainant walked toward the roadway in an attempt to get the license plate information. As she approached the vehicle, the driver pointed a black handgun at her then drove away, driving over the grass into an adjacent apartment complex.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT: Deputies located the vehicle and its driver parked on a nearby side street. The driver matched the description provided by the victim. The driver was taken into custody without incident. A show up was conducted and the victim positively identified the driver as the suspect. A handgun was not located. A Detective from the Rochester Hills Substation responded to speak with the suspect. The suspect was lodged at the Oakland County Jail pending the issuance of criminal charges.
VICTIM INFORMATION: 57 year old female, resident of the City of Rochester Hills.
ARRESTEE INFORMATION: 19 year old male, resident of the City of Rochester Hills
