The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is proud to team up with the Miss Michigan America Organization, the IGroup Model and Talent Agency, and Common Ground to present the Women’s Self-Defense Awareness Month in Oakland County during the month of October.

Sergeant Jen Miles, a trained and certified Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) instructor, from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, will lead each individual session.

Sessions are Oct. 1, 15 and 29  at Sheriff’s Auburn Hills Complex located at 1690 Brown Road, Auburn Hills, MI 48346 (behind Oakland County Pet Adoption Center).

garden16_cheryl_weissEach class is four hours in length from 9am to 1pm.  Register by emailing with date preference and the names of who you are registering.  Written permission is needed for participants age 14-18.
