Southfield, MI – The Southfield Veterans’ Commission, in conjunction with the American Society of Employers, Michigan Industry Liaison Group (MILG), and the U.S. Veterans Administration, will host a job fair for all veterans and military spouses on Thursday, August 18 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Southfield Pavilion located at 26000 Evergreen Road.

More than 20 employers will participate with jobs available for veterans and military spouses NewWay_Jazz_Tuesdaysof all ranks and levels of experience. Companies range from America’s biggest employers to dozens of small companies, including: Beaumont Health, AAA Michigan/The Auto Club Group, Ally Financial, AM General, Compuware, Cooper Standard, DOL Wage and Hour, Federal-Mogul Corporation, Ford Motor Company, ITC, Kelly Services, Lajoy Group, Lowes, Meijer Inc., MGM Hotel, Nexteer, Quicken Loans, Roush, Spicer Group, Dow Chemical Company, Trinity Health, Verizon Wireless, Walgreens, and ZF TRW. Kelly Services will also provide free resume review at the event.

The Southfield Veterans’ Commission is a 501(a) non-profit commission of the city of Southfield that provides education, employment and benefits assistance to area veterans.
