Birmingham, MI – County Commissioner Shelley Goodman Taub of District 12 is seeking reelection.  The district include Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Township and Birmingham.  Goodman Taub faces challenger Chuck Moss in the Republican Primary on Aug 2.  The winner of the primary will then face Democrat Charles Gaba on the Nov. 8, 2016 Election Day.

“I UrbaneAd_04continue to do a great job.  And I continue to serve the people, that’s what I do.  I love working with children through youth assistance.  I love Preservation Bloomfield… I love my community.  I love my involvement working for everyone, every single person in this community.  And so I know the work I have done and continue to do for the community will help get me reelected,” Goodman Taub said.

In her interview with oc115, she talked about work she’d done on human trafficking awareness, the Human Services Coordinating Council, Preservation Bloomfield, Women Officials Network, Oakland County Youth Assistance and The Michigan Association of Counties where she is next in line to be President.  She also talked about the need for a study on water quality, awareness about residential testing of wells, and investigation into taxes that do not have renewal dates.
