Addison Twp – 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., Village Hall and Indian Trail Junior High School
Activities include free pancake breakfast, Community March, ceremonies and Veterans Resource Fair For complete schedule, visit

Auburn Hills – Monday, May 30 starting at 11am.  Parade route starts at American Legion Post 96 Churchill Road, south on Churchill Road to Auburn Road.  Left on Auburn Road to Mother’s Memorial at Squirrel Road for a service.  Once service is completed, north on Squirrel Road, Left of Squirrel Ct. to Aaron Webster Cemetery for final military service to honor veterans.  The annual free picnic serving hot dogs and hamburgers for the community at Post Pavilion following the end of the parade is provided by City of Auburn Hills and Post 143. Beverly Hills – Memorial Day Parade & Carnival / Fun Run and Walk, Monday, May 30, 2016   Parade – It begins at Groves High School and proceeds to Beverly Park. The Carnival is held in Beverly Park from Noon – 3:00 pm with rides, games and refreshments. Funds raised benefit the community. The parade steps off the east Groves High parking lot at 11:00 a.m.  Fun Run – Sponsored by the Beverly Hills Lions Club, the Fun Run and Walk features a four mile run and a two mile walk that begins and ends at Beverly School. All proceeds from this event go to the Beverly Hills Lions Club. The four mile run begins at 9:00 a.m. and the two mile walk begins at 9:05 a.m. More Info.

Farmington – The Farmington Memorial Day Parade has been a Farmington Area tradition since 1970, and continues to celebrate and honor our heroes almost a half-century later. The parade begins at 10:00 am on Memorial Day, near the intersection of Grand River Avenue and Orchard Lake Road. Parade participants stage on Mooney Road (just west of Orchard Lake Road), and travel one mile west on Grand River into downtown Farmington. The parade ends at Oakland Avenue, where a memorial ceremony takes place at the Farmington War Memorial Monument in Memorial Park. The ceremony features local Honor and Color Guards, and high ranking officials from various branches of our military service.  More info.

Memorial Day Parade starts at 10am – route begins at Dartmouth going north on John R to 13 Mile Road. All you can eat pancakes for $6.00 per adult and $4.00 per child.  More info.

Orchard Lake – Summer starts in Orchard Lake, Mich. this Memorial Day Weekend with the 45th annual St. Mary’s Polish Country Fair. Hosted and sponsored by the St. Mary’s Preparatory Moms & Dads Club, the fair takes place Friday, May 27 through Monday, May 30 and benefits the students at the more than 130-year-old high school. The fair will feature fan favorites such as Polish food, concerts, midway entertainment, Vegas style gambling and Bingo tent and the additional of the DIA Away exhibit. This year the fair will be open: 5 p.m. BubbleTea Adto 11 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday – Sunday; and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday. The Vegas tent will run from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday; 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday and Sunday and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday. Attendees must be 18 or older, with a valid ID, to enter the fair after 6 p.m. unless accompanied by a parent.  The fair will include free parking on the grounds of St. Mary’s. General admission is $6 per person or $15 for families of up to six people. Children up to age three are free. Both cash and credit cards will be accepted.

Rochester – On Monday, May 27, the annual Memorial Day Parade once again begins at Mt. Avon Cemetery. The opening ceremony starts at 9:15 a.m. with the parade commencing at 10:00 a.m. The cemetery is located between First and Third streets and Taylor and Wilcox streets in Rochester.  More info

Royal Oak – The Royal Oak Memorial Day Parade Committee announced plans for this year’s parade which will be held on Memorial Day, May 30, 2016. The parade will start at 9:00 a.m. on Memorial Day, near Main Street and Harrison and will proceed north to Second Street where the traditional post-parade Memorial Service will be held at the Royal Oak Veteran’s Memorial at Veteran’s Plaza.  More info.

South Lyon – The parade is held annually on Memorial Day: Organized by VFW Post 2502, the Memorial Day Parade is a South Lyon tradition. The parade launches at 9:00 a.m. from Bartlett Elementary and makes its way east on 10 Mile (also known as Lake Street) through downtown to Reynold Sweet Parkway. The parade ends in the South Lyon Cemetery with a touching ceremony that DDAnew01commemorates the contributions and sacrifices of all veterans. More info.
