Detroit Red Wings forward Tomas Tatar was so grateful for the help of Royal Oak firefighters that he gave them an autographed jersey.

Tatar contacted the department after being locked out of his Royal Oak home, according to the Royal Oak Professional Firefighters Local 431 Facebook Page.

Tatar was also showing some local love, as he is seen wearing an Ink Addict sweatshirt.  Ink Addict opened in Ferndale about one year ago and specialized in tattoo-themed clothing.
