Ferndale, MI –The Daily Tribune reports that 35-year-old Jeffrey Allen Peterson of Chesterfield was arrested and charged with felony assault after a road rage incident in Ferndale around 10pm Sunday.  According to the report, police say Peterson called to report a hit and run, but when officers arrived neither involved vehicle was there.  Police say a 17 year old driver from Detroit and her passenger, a 17 year old from Oak Park, had “tapped” the rear of Peterson’s car.  Peterson followed the teens and reportedly showed his gun during the pursuit, and again once he had the teens blocked in traffic near 8 Mile and Woodward.  The man had a concealed pistol license.  Police confiscated the .38 caliber handgun and the man was arrested.  For more details check out the report in The Daily Tribune.
