(Berkley Beat, March 27, 2016)

Fourth graders at Pattengill researched, composed short essays, and shared many interesting facts and stories about their historical figure with parents, students, and staff during their Wax Museum on Thursday, March 17. At the Wax Museum, students stand still until a guest presses the button in front of them, bringing the students to life. Once “alive” students tell the story of their character for 1 minute and then turn back to wax. Students dressed up as Van Gogh, Misty Copeland, Maria Antoinette, Frido Kahlo, Dr. Seuss, Babe Ruth, Wayne Gretzky, George Washington Carver, Michelle Obama, and Cleopatra to name a few.
