ctechad“Geology and Glacial Lakes with a Royal Oak Connection” speaker program is being held on Wednesday, April 20th, 2016 beginning 7:30 pm at the Royal Oak Middle School (709 N. Washington).  Royal Oak is located in part an extensive glacial landscape that was formed during the final stages of the last Ice Age.  In this presentation, Dr. Jeffrey L. Howard from the Wayne State University Department of Geology, will discuss how this landscape was formed, including the origin of Lake St. Clair and the Detroit River.
