Pontiac, MI – Over 1,500 young people in Pontiac were treated to a day of dreaming with the fifth annual Future Builders Scholarship and Career Fair last Thursday. Over 70 organizations filled tables in the high school gym, featuring educational opportunities, training programs, career placement services, trade organizations and more. Students came from Pontiac High School, Pontiac Middle School, two elementary schools, PAE, ITA, and ATAP all had time to meet with professionals in a variety of fields to talk about what opportunities are out there after high school.

The fair was organized by the Clarence E. Phillips Ascend Foundation. Learn more about Ascend at http://theascendfoundation.org/. Learn more about Pontiac Schools at http://www.pontiac.k12.mi.us.
