Rochester, MI. – Swimming, arts and crafts, a moonwalk and face painting are all part of the Oakland University Center for Autism – Outreach (OUCARES) annual Family Fun Day on Saturday, March 19, 2016.

Created for families of individuals with autism spectrum disorders, the event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. in the Oakland University Campus Recreation Center. A sensory room staffed by professionals from Kaufman Children’s Center will be available, and families can lisa schmidt lawlearn about available resources and meet with representatives from more than 20 organizations.

Through numerous recreational programs, camps, support services for families and inclusion in the community, OUCARES encourages the exchange of ideas relating to autism spectrum disorders and fosters improved quality of life for individuals impacted by autism.
