“The Nature of Oak Park”

Art Display,

4th and 5th Grade Students

City Hall, Oak Park
Come see the beautiful displays in City Hall that were created by area fourth and fifth grade SaharaAd_04students. The displays, featuring nature and scenes of Oak Park, will be exhibited throughout March and April. Children from Key Elementary (Thomas, 4th), Einstein (Banks, 5th), and Pepper (Walker, 5th) have been painting street and nature scenes while learning perspective, color mix, and tonality to create depth and visual space. The project is led by Charles Bugelli, a long-standing art teacher, and Eileen Bigham, coordinator and matting/display artist. The children will be present at the “The Nature of Oak Park” art event honoring the student’s efforts on Thursday, March 24 between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
