Auburn Hills, MI – It looks like 2016 is gearing up to be an exciting year for the City of Auburn Hills.

We’re pleased to report that the City Council authorized the construction of the following development proposals this past Monday.

Villa Montclair Condominiums – 55+ active adult community that will include 88 detached single-family homes surrounded by significant open space and amenities. The project will be constructed on a 30-acre site located at 3995 N. Squirrel Road.

Northern Sign Company – 18,585 sq. ft. building for the sign manufacturing company.  The property is located on the north side of Walton Boulevard, between Lapeer and N. Opdyke Roads.

Auburn Hills Marketplace – 12,206 sq. ft. retail center featuring a Starbucks Coffee store with drive-through pick-up service and an outdoor seating area. The project will be built on the site of the recently closed Palm Palace restaurant, which is located at the northwest corner of N. Squirrel Road and University Drive.

The total investment for all three projects combined will exceed $22 million.  Stay tuned for updates on their construction.
