ROPD Offers Citizens Police Academy in April

Royal Oak, MI – Beginning this spring, the Royal Oak Police Department will offer residents a unique insight into local law enforcement.

The police department has established the Royal Oak Citizens Police Academy, an exciting seven-week course that meets once a week on Wednesday evenings for approximately three hours. Classes begin April 6, 2016.

MufflerOpen only to residents of Royal Oak, attendees get an insider’s look at the internal operations and challenges of the police department.

You must be 18 years of age or older to attend the academy. All potential applicants are screened before they are accepted.
You will be notified no later than April 1, 2016, if you have been admitted.
