Huntington Woods, MI – Men’s Club Auction Set for March 19th
Save the date for the annual Men’s Club Auction on Saturday, March 19th.  Tickets are $25 and will be on sale at the Gillham Recreation Center beginning Monday, February 1st.  If you have an item you would like to donate to support the auction, please fill out a form at

Each year, the Men’s Club raises funds to be returned to the community of Huntington Woods.  100% of the net proceeds from these fundraising events, including our annual auction, are returned to the City of Huntington Woods to support programs, events and special projects.  Since the Club’s inception, over $2,000,000 has been raised and reinvested in the city.

Annually, the money supports:

  • The city’s 4th of July fireworks display
  • 4th of July Parade

  • Recycler of the Month Award
  • City Calendar publication
  • New Residents Reception
  • Men’s Club Past President’s Scholarship Fund

In addition, a special project is selected each year for support.  This year’s project is Scotia Park improvements. Recent projects have been:

2015 – A donation of nearly $60,000 toward a city pool scoreboard.
2014 –A donation of nearly $70,000 toward refurbishing Burton Community Park.
2013 –A donation of nearly $70,000 toward refurbishing Burton Community Park.
2012 – ‘Green Project’ – Creation of a city tree maintenance fund to protect the trees which give our city its name.
2011 – ‘Green Project’ – Recycling bins for every city resident for new single-stream recycling program
2010 – ‘Green Project’ – Solar panels for Rec Center
2009 – Pool Renovations
2008 – Rec Center bleachersblumz01
2007 – Remodeling of the Library & Cultural Center Kitchen
2006 – Paving of Burton Field running track, portable bleachers for city parks, and new deck chairs for the pool.
2005 – Reynolds Park Phase II – New play structures.
2004 – New decorative street signs throughout the city.
2003 – Reynolds Park Phase I – Infrastructure upgrades – added or replaced fencing, pathways, picnic tables, drinking fountain, and landscaping.
