Ferndale, MI – The Greater Detroit Chapter of the United Nations Association cordially invites you to our Annual General Meeting!
Please join us on Monday, January 25, 2016 for our Annual General Meeting at the Ferndale Public Library from 7:00pm-9:00pm. The Ferndale Public Library is located at 222 E. 9 Mile Road, Ferndale, MI 48220.
We are so excited to have Euphemia Sue Franklin, Executive Director of Southeastern Michigan Indians, Inc. (SEMII) as our guest speaker for the evening. SEMII was founded in 1975 in order to serve the Native American communities of Southeastern Michigan, and to preserve and honor Native American culture. Sue will be talking about the work of SEMII and Human Rights in the Native American community.
Everyone is Welcome!!!
For members of the United Nations Association, there will be an annual vote. Please be present. We need your voice! This will also be a great opportunity for those that are not members to meet like-minded people and learn about the work of the United Nations Association and our Greater Detroit Chapter!
Light refreshments will be served!
