Royal Oak Township, MI – Armed Robbery:   On January 3, 2016, at approximately 6 50 AM, troopers from   the Metro Post were dispatched and responded to an armed robbery in Royal Oak   Township at the Family Dollar, 20735 Wyoming Ave. The armed robbery occurred at   approximately 6 41 PM. The suspect is described as a 17-25y/o, 6’0”, dark skin black   male with a thin build. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt (with the   hood pulled over his head), black pants and wore a black mask that covered his mouth   and nose. The suspect was carrying a baby modern natural 01 adsemi-automatic pistol. The suspect made   contact with store employees and was able to take the cash that was in the register, exited the store and fled north. No one was injured during the robbery.
