Royal Oak, MI – Saturday, January 9 at 3p, drummer/bandleader RJ Spangler will celebrate a 40-year musical association with trombonist/vocalist T-bone Paxton at the ROPL. They will play music from the Great American Songbook: the Gershwin brothers, Johnny NewWay_Jazz_TuesdaysMercer, Harold Arlen, Cole Porter, Hoagie Carmichael and Irving Berlin as well as early jazz masters such as Duke Ellington and Fats Waller.
