LANSING, MI -Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette and Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi today entered into a friendly wager over the upcoming Citrus Bowl in which the University of Michigan Wolverines will face the University of Florida Gators.

Should the Wolverines be victorious, Bondi has pledged to send a crate of Fresh from Florida Oranges to Schuette. In the event that the Wolverines do not claim victory, Schuette has gardenfreshADagreed to send a crate of Pure Michigan Apples to Ms. Bondi.

“The University of Michigan will certainly prove to be victors over the Gators,” said Schuette. “I’m looking forward to having freshly squeezed orange juice on the table in Midland next week.”

“Beating the Michigan Wolverines will be as easy as apple pie, which I plan to enjoy after watching my Florida Gators win the Citrus Bowl,” said Attorney General Bondi. “Go Gators!”

The Citrus Bowl is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. EST. on January 1st in Orlando.
