The Royal Oak Historical Commission currently has a vacancy. This commission is a policy-making body that advises the city commission on matters relating to or advancing the historical interests of the City of Royal Oak. The seven members are appointed by the city commission and serve three-year terms. The commission meets the fourth Wednesday of each month from September to June.

Residents interested in volunteering for this position are encouraged to fill out an application at http://www.ci.royal-oak.mi.us/webfm_send/3611 and send it to the City Clerk’s office.
