Wolverine Lake, MI – After 25 years of service, Village Administrator and Clerk Sharon Miller will be leaving her position with Wolverine Lake.

The Michigan Municipal League is working with Wolverine Lake officials in the search for her replacement.

According to www.mml.org, the position pays $70,000-$80,000 a year depending on qualifications.

“The current Village Administrator is retiring after 25 years of service. The current Village Administrator also serves as Village Clerk. Even though the Village Clerk does not conduct elections, the Village Council is contemplating hiring a part-time Village Clerk. The Village Administrator serves as the Personnel Director and is an ex-officio member of a number of Boards and Commissions.

“Wolverine Lake is a full-service, home rule Village Council/Manager community of 4,325 residents living within 1.7 sq. miles. Its 2015 General Fund Budget is $2.6 million with a very healthy fund balance.”
