Supporting Adult Siblings of People with Disabilities: What is the role of a sibling?

This workshop will assist parents and adult siblings of individuals with disabilities to think CFSEM-123-OaklandCounty115-digital-ad_v2about the future role of siblings in supporting their family member with a disability. It is important to include the unique perspective of siblings in supporting individuals with disabilities. Angela Martin from Michigan Supporting and Including Brothers and Sisters (MI SIBS) will share information about the experience of adult siblings of people with disabilities. Michigan SIBS exists to provide adult siblings of individuals with disabilities the information, resources, and support to advocate with/and for their brothers and sisters to promote leadership roles of siblings within the disability community.
